My HR Business Partner was founded in 2014 by Adele Marsh MCIPD in an effort to bring affordable HR services to SMEs.

 

Adele Marsh MCIPD is an experienced HR Business Partner that has nearly 20 years of HR and operational management experience in E-commerce, Digital, Late night leisure, Licensed Trade and Contact Centre sectors.

 

Following 5 years as an HR Operations Director in a start up that grew to over £1.1m turnover in just over 3 years, Adele decided to specialise in Human Resource Management and undertook her Professional Assessment of Competence Level 7 qualification with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development to gain Chartered Membership in 2012. 

 

After gaining her MCIPD, Adele spent 18 months in Northern Ireland as a successful HR Business Partner for Teleperformance, a global contact centre organisation employing over 130,000 staff across 258 sites. Adele had responsibility for up to 450 employees. Moving back to England towards the end of 2013, Adele spent 6 months as an HR Consultant for Practical HR before deciding that traditional HR Consultancy was lacking the 'personal touch' and was also extremely expensiive to SMEs.

 

Adele realised that many SMEs were not receiving sound HR advice simply because they couldn't afford the £105 per hour average HR COnsultancy cost. This meant that many SMEs owners were making bad decisions with little support, leaving thmeselves opento Employment Tribunal claims.

 

Adele also saw that the other HR Consultancies were also tying their clients into lengthy contracts and Adele felt that when you are in yur frist 1 to 5 years of business that this simply isn't a viable model. SMEs need adhoc, affordable pay-as-go models as well as small fee retainer options. Adele set up My HR Business Partner to serve this market.

 

As a professional Human Resources Consultant and business leader, Adele has experience working at a senior level, engaging with board members, directors and CEOs. Adele has a wealth of experience delivering both strategic and operational advice and guidance across all aspects of HRD including: Employee Relations, Engagement, Reward, Resourcing, Performance Management, Talent management, Succession Planning, Organisational Development and Change Management.

 

Adele has also been successful in writing & implementing Policies & Procedures across the full HR spectrum in both existing & new organisations, along with a successful track record in Management Development.

 

Adele has a very strong operational background with excellent leadership skills and experience of working in matrix organisations.

 

Adele is an avid promoter of the #FOW (future of work) and positive disruption of workplace culture. A keen interest in employee engagement and high performing work cultures 

Now, in 2021 Adele is expanding the business to take on other like-minded HR Professionals to join My HRBP
